OTTAWA-GATINEAU - The Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League made the following roster transactions:

SIGNED:

International running back Devine Redding

HEIGHT: 5-8 | WEIGHT: 205 lbs. | BIRTHDAY: 05/02/1996

Hometown: Youngstown, OH | SCHOOL: Indiana

Had back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons for the Hoosiers in 2015 and in 2016. Redding played 36 games for Indiana, in which he totaled for 2,252 rushing yards on 508 attempts, for 17 rushing touchdowns and an average of 4.4 yards per carry. Spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

International linebacker Marcus Porter

HEIGHT: 6-0 | WEIGHT: 229 lbs. | BIRTHDAY: 30/08/1996

Hometown: Accokeek, MD | SCHOOL: Fairmont State

Played 43 games in four seasons with the Fighting Falcons, putting up 336 tackles and six interceptions. Following his college career, Porter spent time in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers and was added to the REDBLACKS practice roster late last season.

International receiver Taj Williams

HEIGHT: 6'4 | WEIGHT: 193 lbs. | BIRTHDAY: 2/4/1993

Hometown: Tallahassee, FL| SCHOOL: TCU

A highly touted receiver before heading Williams to TCU. In his first year with the Horned Frogs, Williams started 10 of 13 games, ending the seasons with 39 receptions, 702 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Williams went on to play nine games the following year and was named the Offensive MVP for the Tropical Bowl that year. Williams then went on to spend some time with the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.
