Red Stars Partner with the Forgotten Dogs Foundation

The Chicago Red Stars have partnered with the Forgotten Dogs Foundation to raise money and awareness for the Evanston Animal Shelter. To kick off our fundraiser, four adoptable dogs from the shelter accompanied the Red Stars starting lineup as they walked onto the field for the April 2 match against the Houston Dash.

Forgotten Dogs Foundation is a non profit committed to protecting the underdog and providing support to shelters in Chicago and across the country to ensure the safety and happiness of dogs. To join our effort, visit our PledgeIt page and simply pledge an amount of your choice for every shot on goal that's saved by our goalkeepers this season. By pledging to donate for every save on goal, you are making a pledge to save a life! The funds raised from this initiative will go directly towards saving and improving the lives of dogs in shelters, and the total number of games will be determined by each individual team's schedule.
