
Red-Hot Firebirds Back for Two Crucial Home Games this Weekend

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds currently ride an OHL-best seven-game winning streak, and find themselves in the thick of things in the race for a top-four seed in the Western Conference playoffs. After one more road game Wednesday night in Owen Sound, they return home for two games this weekend at the Dort Financial Center with just four games remaining in the regular season.
First, on Friday, March 17th, the Firebirds celebrate a special St. Patrick's Day game, brought to you by the Crim Foundation, when they take on the Hamilton Bulldogs. The team will be wearing specialty St. Patrick's Day jerseys set to be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds set to benefit the CANUSA games. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. and tickets are available right now at Etix.com HERE or at the Dort Financial Center Box Office.
Then on Saturday, March 18th, the Firebirds welcome in the Western Conference-leading London Knights for the final time this year. Prior to the game, the Firebirds will honor their Overage players: Riley Piercey, Tyler Deline and Will Cranley in a special pregame ceremony to celebrate their OHL careers. Additionally, it will be Dover Doors night where the first 2,000 fans will receive a FREE keychain tape measurer courtesy of Dover Doors. The Dort Financial Center Box Office is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Friday and opens at Noon on Saturday.
