Red Bulls Game Vs. Club Atlas on March 8 to be Televised Live

HARRISON, NJ (March 7, 2011) ‚¬" Red Bull New York announced today that its March 8 match against Mexico ‚¬â„¢s Club Atlas de Guadalajara at University of Phoenix Stadium will be televised live, locally by MSG Plus and nationally by ESPN Deportes.

The game will also be available for international audiences on ESPN in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and online at ESPNPlay.com. It will also be shown tape delayed on ESPN Dos networks. The match, called ‚¬Å“Red Bull Reto del Sol ‚¬Â, or ‚¬Å“Challenge of the Sun ‚¬Â, will kick off at 10:00 PM ET.

This international friendly be the first ever meeting between the two clubs. Red Bulls defender and Designated Player Rafa Márquez began his professional career at Atlas, appearing in 77 games and scoring six goals from 1996-99.

This game will be the Red Bulls ‚¬â„¢ final tilt of the 2011 preseason. The 2011 Red Bulls Regular Season gets underway on Saturday, March 19 when New York hosts Seattle Sounders FC at Red Bull Arena at 7:30 PM ET.
