Record-Setting DB Rayshaun Kizer Signs with CFL's Alouettes

ORLANDO - Following a record-breaking season in the Arena Football League with the Orlando Predators in 2011, defensive back Rayshaun Kizer (5'10, 192, Walsh) accepted a contract from the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes on Wednesday.

Kizer set a new AFL regular-season record by intercepting 16 passes and finishing the year with a league-leading 237 return yards and three touchdowns on INTs.

He also ranked No. 7 in the AFL with 1.67 pass defenses per game and No. 8 with six tackles made per game, while being named to the All-Arena First Team for the second year in a row.

Kizer started every game in the defensive backfield for the Preds In 2011, leading the AFL in interceptions for the second year in a row.

Kizer previously played for Montreal in 2008, where he finished with 27 tackles in 10 games. He spent 2009 with the af2 Green Bay Blizzard before signing with the Preds in 2010, where he went on to intercept 12 passes.
