Georgia Force News Release

Duluth, GA (September 30, 2011) - The Force continued laying the foundation for their offensive and defensive lines this week by signing four linemen, two on each side of the ball. Offensive linemen Jovon Hayes and Carl Barnett and defensive linemen Brian Duncan and Jarvis Geathers all agreed to terms with the Force.

Wide receiver Rodney Bradley also signed with the Force, but shortly thereafter agreed to terms with the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. He has been placed on the exempt list.

Hayes and Bennett join Sean Allen and Ray Norell on the offensive line. Barnett was named to the Conference USA All-Freshmen Team in 2006 and garnered All-Conference USA Honorable Mention honors in 2009 while at the University of Houston. Allen and Norell each re-signed with the team during the restricted signing period.

On the defensive side, Duncan and Geathers come to Georgia from the football programs at Texas Tech and Central Florida, respectively. Duncan was All-Big 12 Honorable Mention last season after registering 7.0 sacks and 12.0 tackles for loss, both team highs. Geathers was All-Conference USA Defensive First Team in 2009, when he played in all 13 of the team's games with 11 sacks and 29 tackles, including two sacks in that season's contest at Texas.
