
Philadelphia Soul Partners with Spike's Trophies

PHILADELPHIA (September 30, 2011) - The Philadelphia Soul announce they have partnered with Spike's Trophies in the, "Philly Football Rocks!" FUN-Raising initiative. This initiative allows non-profit and youth sports organizations to raise money while spreading goodwill and creating meaningful experiences and great exposure.
"We are very excited to have partnered up with Spike's Trophies," said Soul VP/COO John Adams. "Spikes is a perfect partner for this effort as they can bring recognition of achievement to participating programs as well as a budget relieving elements to add to the tremendous fundraising opportunities with the initiative."
Spike's is a manufacturer and distributor of Awards, Promotional Products and Signs, since 1929. Spike's provides a wide range of high quality recognition and promotional products to businesses and organizations of all sizes. Many state-of-the-art, in-house capabilities allow for speed, service and dependability in meeting the most challenging event timelines. Spike's assists its customer's: Recognize a special achievement; Commemorate a special event; Promote a new product or service; Motivate employees or associates; Thank a customer or friend; Communicate a theme or mission; and Create a symbol of success.
With the Spikes Trophies partnership, any youth league that participates and completes the "Philly Football Rocks!" FUN-Raising Initiative will receive: (1) FREE MVP or Sportsmanship Trophy, a BANQUET BUSTER which includes a grand prize winner selected from all participating partners. The BANQUET BUSTER includes $1,500 of awards towards an end of season awards banquet.
In addition to the Spikes Trophies elements, organizations that sign up for the program will also receive: up to 55 percent of the revenue generated from ticket sales to Soul games, an autographed Fender electric guitar signed by Kamal Gray, Vince Papale, James Van Riemsdyk or Michael Vick (depending on the program selected); an autographed over-sized print from 1980 Super Bowl of Ron Jaworski; an autographed football and jersey signed by Jaworski and a Soul player or coach. A limited number of packages are available.
With a goal of 300 partners signed up before the start of the season and each organization expecting to raise $5,000 on average, this equates to $1.5 million in "FUN-Raising" Revenue in total to be earned from this initiative for organizations spanning all throughout the Delaware Valley, Lehigh Valley and beyond.
The Philadelphia Soul is currently looking for more partners to join in the mission to raise $1.5 million.
