Edmonton Oil Kings News Release
Edmonton, Alta. - The Edmonton Oil Kings have a legitimate shot of breaking the record for largest 50-50 pot in team history this Saturday. For the second time in the past six games, the 50-50 pot went unclaimed. The holder of the winning ticket had 48 hours to claim the prize and it's still unspoken for. Under the Oil Kings license with the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission, the unclaimed prize of $7337 will be added to the prize amount for Game 5 of the WHL Kal Tire Eastern Conference Championship Saturday, April 29.
The team record was set during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinal against the Brandon Wheat Kings where the winner walked home with $22, 351!
Advanced game tickets for all Oil Kings home playoff games in 2014 start at just $20 and are available at any TicketMaster location, at the Rexall Place Box Office or online at OILKINGS.CA.
