
WHL Bantam Draft Set for Thursday

Prince Albert SK- The Western Hockey League will conduct its annual Bantam Draft on Thursday, May 1st in Calgary, Alberta.
Players eligible for the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft will be 1999-born players who reside in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
The Raiders will first pick at the 9th overall spot in the first round. Previous Raiders first round draft picks include Brendan Guhle, Reid Gardiner and Josh Morrissey.
