Green Bay Gamblers News Release

(Green Bay, WI) The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) set a franchise single-game attendance record on Sunday as 7,017 fans came out to the Resch Center on to see the Gamblers defeat the Chicago Steel 4-3 in a shootout.

The single-game attendance mark was not the only record broken on Sunday night. The Gamblers also set a team record for most wins in a season with 42. With four games remaining in the regular season the Gamblers, who have clinched the Eastern Division, sit atop the 14-team USHL with a 42-9-5 mark, seven points ahead of the Omaha Lancers in the race for the Anderson Cup.

The Gamblers need just two points, or a Lancers loss to clinch their second straight Anderson Cup. Green Bay will look to etch their names on the Anderson Cup this weekend as they head to Fargo, North Dakota for a two-game weekend series with the Fargo Force.
