Rebels Trim Down After The McDonald's Black and White Game

RED DEER, AB - The Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club announced today they have reassigned 13 players following the McDonald's Black and White Game. With these moves, the Rebels currently have 29 players, including Cassidy Mappin (Born in 1990) who is ineligible to play full time in the Western Hockey League this season due to his age.

The Rebels begin the pre-season Tuesday, September 6th in Airdrie where they will face the Calgary Hitmen. The regular season begins Friday, September 23rd as the Rebels host the Calgary Hitmen. Single Game Tickets for all Rebels home games go on sale Saturday, September 3rd, 10:00AM at all ticketmaster outlets.
