LAST WEEK

The Rebels came up just short in their lone game this past weekend.

SAT. FEB. 24 - The Wenatchee Wild held off a late charge from the Rebels for a 3-2 win at the Peavey Mart Centrium. Samuel Drancak had a goal and an assist for Red Deer. Frantisek Formanek scored his 17th goal of the season. Red Deer outshot Wenatchee 31-25 and was 0-for-2 on the power play while the Wild were 1-for-3.

THIS WEEK

It's a busy, busy week for the Rebels with two road games followed by a pair of home tilts within a five-day span.

Tuesday (Feb. 27) the Rebels visit the CHL top-ranked Saskatoon Blades as the two clubs wrap up their season series. Red Deer is 1-2 versus Saskatoon this season but won the most recent meeting 5-4 on January 17.

Then the following night, Wednesday, February 28, the Rebels are in Prince Albert to battle the Raiders for the final time this season. Red Deer is 2-1-0-1 versus the Raiders thus far.

Game time for both contests is at 6 p.m. MT.

The Rebels then return home for a pair of games at the Peavey Mart Centrium versus Central Division rivals. They host the Swift Current Broncos Friday night (March 1) followed by the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday (March 2). Both games start at 7 p.m.

All Rebels games - home and away - are broadcast live on 106.7 REWIND Radio and CHL TV. Tickets for all Rebels home games are available at ticketsalberta.com.

CARPET ONE BOBBLEHEAD

The latest Red Deer Rebels Bobblehead, presented by Carpet One Red Deer, will be unveiled on Tuesday, February 27. Just 1,500 of these bobbleheads will be available to fans attending our Friday, March 1 home game versus Swift Current. Several notable Rebels Alumni - including this year's bobblehead player himself - will be in attendance.

50/50

The 50/50 jackpot for Friday's game versus the Broncos will be a fair bit sweeter as it will start out at $10,000 before the first ticket is even sold! Rebels fans in Alberta on game day can visit rebels5050.com to purchase tickets. Proceeds from all 50/50 draws throughout the season go to support the Rebels Foundation for Education and Wellness, and the Rotary Clubs of Red Deer.

REAL CANADIAN SUPERSTORE JERSEY

The winning Rebels entry for this year's Real Canadian Superstore Jersey Design contest will be unveiled this week. Since the contest was first introduced during the 2020-21 season, the CHL and Real Canadian Superstore have raised over $375,000 for President's Choice Children's Charity. Each year, fans aged 16 and under are encouraged to submit their jersey design. The Rebels will wear this year's winning design when they host the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday, March 2 at the Peavey Mart Centrium.
