Tulsa Oilers News Release
Mudbug Feast:The Tulsa Oilers will see plenty of the Bossier-Shreveport
Mudbugs over the next week playing them four times. The set begins Tuesday
Feb. 27 at the Tulsa Convention Center at 7:05 p.m. It's QuikTrip Tuesday
with ticket vouchers available at area QuikTrip Stores. The Oilers will then
head Bossier-Shreveport for games Friday and Saturday. Both of those games
begin at 7:05 p.m. and be heard on KRVT AM 1270 and via the internet at
www.tulsaoilers.com Tough Week: The Oilers dropped three games last week, losing in Colorado,
9-1, then holding Wichita to only 12 shots on goal in a 3-2 loss, and then
saw a late rally come up short in a 6-5 loss to Oklahoma City. Close Calls: The two one-goal games last week continue a recent trend for
the Oilers. The Oilers have had 10 of their last 14 games decided by one
goal. Tulsa has gone 6-6-2 in those 14 games and the Oilers are 5-3-2 in the
one-goal games. Rat's Tale: Center David Rattray had a strong weekend with a goal against
Wichita and two goals and an assist against Oklahoma City. Bill Newson also
had two goals against Oklahoma City. What Risk?: In their last two games, the Oilers have scored three extra
attacker goals and have not given up an empty net goal. Tickets Here: Oiler tickets are available at all Carson Attraction
locations, Drug Mart stores, and by phone at (918) 584-2000.
