REAL SALT LAKE TO HEAD TO IRVINE, CALIF. FOR SECOND PRESEASON STINT ON TUESDAY

Real Salt Lake wrapped up on Saturday its first preseason training camp at Grande Sports Academy - the home of the Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy - just outside of Casa Grande, Ariz. The week-long training stint featured the Claret-and-Cobalt's first preseason game of 2014 against the Real Salt Lake-Arizona U-18's which ended in a 1-1 draw, as well as a 60-minute intra-squad match to close out the camp. Match highlights and recaps can be found on RealSaltLake.com's Preseason Central page.

After a brief stay in Salt Lake City, Real Salt Lake will head to Irvine, Calif. for the club's second preseason training camp on Tuesday. The team will train at the University of California-Irvine in Irvine, Calif. from Feb. 4-13 and play in two matches - one against UC-Irvine on Feb. 8 at 3:00 p.m. MT at Anteater Stadium and a second against MLS Western Conference foe Chivas USA on Feb. 13 at 12:00 p.m. MT at StubHub Center.

Following its stint in Irvine, the team will head back to Utah for a weekend before returning to Arizona on Feb. 17 for a two-week stint in Tucson to participate in the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup preseason tournament. This will be Real Salt Lake's third-consecutive year in the round-robin competition, which will also include fellow MLS clubs Chicago Fire, Chivas USA, Colorado Rapids and New England Revolution, along with USL Premier Development League club FC Tucson.

The FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 19 and will conclude with the Championship and Consolation matches on Saturday, March 1. A full schedule and ticketing information for all of the 2014 MLS Preseason games in Tucson can be found at www.FCTucson.com.

RSL'S BECKERMAN, RIMANDO AND GIL FEATURE IN THE U.S. MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM 2-0 WIN OVER KOREA REPUBLIC

All three of Real Salt Lake's American internationals featured for the U.S. Men's National Team in its 2-0 win over Korea Republic on Saturday, with MF Kyle Beckerman and GK Nick Rimando playing 90 minutes and MF Luis Gil notching his first cap with a 15 minute cameo off the bench.

Beckerman put in a very solid shift, earning plaudits for his composure and accuracy in possession. Rimando also did well, making five saves to improve to 10-0-0 in his international career. Rimando is now tied for fifth on the USMNT's all-time goalkeeper victories list with Brad Guzan. Gil didn't have much to do in his 15 minutes, but seemed to settle in quickly, completing eight of nine attempted passes and appearing to handle his nerves well.

Beckerman, Rimando and Gil will return to Salt Lake City, where they'll undergo media day with the rest of their Real Salt Lake teammates on Tuesday. RSL Head Coach Jeff Cassar will give all three players a well-deserved break following media day, letting them take off until Feb. 9, when they'll join the Claret-and-Cobalt mid-camp in Irvine, Calif.
