Real Salt Lake Acquires Houston Dynamo 2024 Third-Round SuperDraft Pick

HERRIMAN, UT - Real Salt Lake has transferred the "Right of First Refusal" (ROFR) to former DF Tate Schmitt to Houston Dynamo FC in exchange for the South Texas club's natural Third-Round pick in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft.

Ahead of Real Salt Lake's 2023 season opener at Vancouver on Sat., Feb. 25 to kick off the Claret-and-Cobalt's 19th campaign, RSL wraps up its 2023 Major League Soccer preseason with a Saturday 11 a.m. MT kickoff of in Tucson against fellow MLS side Chicago Fire.

Next week's training and travel schedule, as well as the Utah side's 2023 roster for Week One, will be released on Sunday; both 2023 RSL season ticket memberships and single-game tickets for the 2023 home opener at America First Field in Sandy, UT, on Sat., March 11 against Austin FC remain on sale via www.RSL.com/tickets or by calling 844.Real.Tix.
