Austin FC Loans Defender Jhohan Romaña to Club Olimpia

Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that the Club reached an agreement to loan defender Jhohan Romaña to Club Olimpia of Paraguay's Primera División. The Colombian center back joins Olimpia on a season-long loan through the end of the 2023 Major League Soccer season. The deal includes a transfer option.
Since joining Austin FC in December 2020, Romaña made 35 appearances for the Club, 22 of which were starts. He recorded 31 interceptions and passed at an 89.5 percent success rate during that span.
