Colorado Rapids News Release
The Rapids are set to face one more team in a preseason scrimmage before kicking off the MLS regular season: Philadelphia Union. The two sides will kick off at 9:30 a.m. MT on Saturday.
The Eastern Conference opponent visits the Rapids' headquarters in Orlando on the heels of a 120-minute 2-0 loss to Nashville SC.
Colorado strikers Kévin Cabral, Diego Rubio and Darren Yapi have led the scoring charge for the Rapids this preseason with a combined nine goals between them, and will hope to slot home a few more against Philly before leaving Orlando.
Following the scrimmage with the Union, the Rapids will head to Washington state for their 2023 MLS opening weekend match against Seattle Sounders FC on February 26 (6 p.m. MT; FS1, Apple TV - Free).
All scrimmages in Orlando will be closed-door contests, but fans of the Burgundy and Blue can keep up with all the action on the official Rapids' social media accounts and coloradorapids.com for postgame coverage.
