Rochester RazorSharks News Release
(Rochester, N.Y.)Å The Rochester RazorSharks are in first place in the American Basketball Association's Connie Hawkins Division with a 3-0 record after winning two games this weekend. The RazorSharks tipped the Newark Express 103-99 last Saturday afternoon at The Blue Cross Arena with Demond Stewart (Greece Olympia/Niagara) netting 32 points.
Sunday night in Rockville, MD, Rochester outscored the Maryland Nighthawks 120-102 with James Reaves (Edison Tech/Niagara) scoring 33 points and adding 11 rebounds. Keith Friel (Virginia) added 20 points and Lazarus Sims (Syracuse) scored 14. Rochester is tied with Northeast Pennsylvania for first place with identical 3-0 records.
THIS WEEK: The RazorSharks host the Strong Island Sound at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at The Blue Cross ArenaÅ . Rochester will welcome the Montreal Matrix to the BCA on Saturday, November 19 for a 7:35 p.m. tip-offÅ The RazorSharks are 2-0 at home so far this season.

SHARK BITES: James Reaves leads the RazorSharks in scoring after three games with a 26.3 points per game averageÅ Reaves also leads the team in rebounds with an 11.3 average per gameÅ Lazarus Sims is the team's leader in assists with 5.5 per gameÅ Wednesday's game will be broadcast live on WHTK AM-1280 at 7:00 p.m. with Gene Battaglia handling the play-by-play and former Syracuse University great Roosevelt Bouie providing color commentary - Saturday's home game will be tape-delayed until 10:00 p.mÅ ..Following this week's games the RazorSharks will return to the Blue Cross Arena for a 7:05 p.m. tip-off on Thanksgiving Night against the Niagara Daredevils.
