RazorSharks run record to 3-0

Rochester RazorSharks News Release


Rochester, NY. The ABA Rochester RazorSharks are in first place in the ABA Connie Hawkins Division with a 3-0 record after winning two games this weekend. The RazorSharks tipped the Newark Express 103-99 at The Blue Cross Arena with Demond Stewart netting 32 points. Then, in Rockville MD, Rochester outscored the Maryland Nighthawks 120-102 with James Reaves scoring 33 and adding 11 rebounds. Keith Friel added 20 and Lazurus Sims had 14. Rochester is tied with NE Pennsylvania for first place with identical 3-0 records in the strong northeast divisions.

This week, the RazorSharks host the Strong Island Sound at 705pm on Wednesday at The Blue Cross Arena and will welcome the Montreal Matrix on Saturday at 735pm. The games will be broadcast live via WHTK-AM 1280 with Gene Battaglia handling the play-by-play and former Syracuse University great Roosevelt Bouie providing color commentary. Saturday's game will be tape delayed until 10pm. Following this week's games, the RazorSharks will return to BCA for a 705pm tip-off on Thanksgiving Night vs the Niagara DareDevils.
