
RazorSharks to host Orlando-Wilmington winner Sunday

(Rochester, New York)...The defending American Basketball Association champion Rochester RazorSharks (24-6) begin their drive to another championship title this Sunday, March 18 as they host the winner of the #10 Wilmington Sea Dawgs-#23 Orlando Aces match-up at The Blue Cross Arena at 1:05 p.m. The RazorSharks finished ranked #4 in the season-ending ABA Power Rankings, earning a first round bye.
PLAYOFF TICKETS ON SALE: Tickets for the first RazorSharks playoff game go on sale Tuesday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. at The Blue Cross Arena Box office, via phone by calling (585) 232-1900 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Playoff tickets remain the same as regfular season prices and are $9.50 for general admission, $16.50 for reserved seating and $26.50 for court side seats.
PLAYOFF MATCH-UPS: The first two rounds will be determined by regional match-ups; the final eight teams will be seeded per the ABA Power Rankings and then play down with the higher seed hosting.

The RazorSharks have won 35 straight games on home court at The Blue Cross Arena, setting the Rochester professional basketball record - and a local all-time pro sports record - for consecutive home wins. Rochester is 38-2 all-time on home court (18-0 this season) and have a 54-10 (.841%) all-time overall record in the ABA. The RazorSharks last lost at home on Thursday, November 24, 2005 - Thanksgiving Night - to the Niagara DareDevils 116-111 - which was over 475 days ago.
