Rays To Host Augusta In Pre Season Play

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


The South Carolina Stingrays will host the Augusta Lynx on Saturday, October 15th at 3:00 PM at the Carolina Ice Palace in a pre season game. The game will take place exclusively for season ticket holders and media.

The Stingrays hosted the Columbia Inferno last season at the Ice Palace and the event was a tremendous success.

"The Carolina Ice Palace is our official training facility," commented Rays' President Taylor Lee. "Our team feels very comfortable there both on the ice and in our private team rooms. Last year's pre season game was a success for our team and season ticket holders so we look forward to making this game a tradition."

The Rays plan to play two pre season games this year with the remaining game taking place on Friday, October 14 in Greenville against the Grrrowl.

The Stingrays home opener is slated for the following Saturday night at the North Charleston Coliseum against the Columbia Inferno at 7:05.
