JACKSONVILLE, Fla. â The Jacksonville Suns game vs. the Orlando Rays, scheduled for tonight at 7:05 p.m. has been cancelled due to problems with the Suns' team bus returning from Birmingham, Ala.
The Suns' team bus experienced major mechanical problems 30 miles south of Birmingham as the team was on their way back to Jacksonville after a four-game series with the Barons. The team was stranded for over 12 hours and was unable to resume their trip until noon today.
The Suns and Rays will play a doubleheader tomorrow afternoon at 3:05 p.m. consisting of two seven inning games.
