The South Division leaders fought back in the bottom of the third. Tyler Ogle slugged an opposite-field solo homer for his team-leading fourth of the season, cutting the margin to 7-5.

After the two sides traded zeroes in the middle innings, Visalia added to its lead in the sixth against reliever Victor Araujo. Perez drew a leadoff walk, Almadova singled and Palka walked to load the bases. Ijames grounded into a fielder's choice, plating Perez for an 8-5 score.

The Rawhide tacked on some insurance runs in the seventh. Medrano tripled against Araujo and scored on Westbrook's single to left field for his fourth RBI of the contest. Fidel Pena doubled to right, scoring Westbrook. Almadova's base-hit up the middle chased Pena home, putting Visalia up 11-5.
