Rattlers Fans, Organization Honored by IFL

Phoenix, Ariz. - The Indoor Football League (IFL) has announced that the Arizona Rattlers have been honored with the Best Franchise of the Year award, the Best Fans of the Year award, and the Best Hospitality of the Year award. This is the second straight year that the Rattlers fans and the franchise have been honored.
Franchise of the Year and Hospitality Awards
Since the team's establishment in 1992, the Arizona Rattlers have won 11 division titles, 6 conference titles, and have appeared in 11 championship games, winning six. Now the organization is once again being honored as the best franchise of the year in its second straight season.
"This honor is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our players and coaches, front office staff, support staff and of course our incredible fans who continue to support our team," said Team Owner Ron Shurts. "It's our mission to support our city, provide a great experience to our fans and help grow the sport of indoor football in Phoenix. A huge thank you to our partners, fans and all of our supporters. This isn't possible without them!"
Not only were the Rattlers honored as franchise of the year, but the accommodations that they provide are proven to be second to none. The hospitality award is given to the team that provided the best overall experience for the visiting team while on the road. The Rattlers were deemed to have the best host hotel, pre-game and post-game meals and other accommodations and have consistently exceeded expectations.
Best Fans of the Year Award
Once again, the Snake Pit showed they were still as loyal and as loud as ever, during the Rattlers eight home games. The Rattlers broke several attendance records, including the all-time attendance record for an Arizona Rattlers home game on May 20th, 2018 with 18,381 fans.
The Arizona Rattlers organization would like to thank their loyal fans in showing their support all season long.
"Rattler Nation is second to none," said Team President Chris Presson. "Our fans have the passion and energy that no other fans base does. They are also knowledgeable about the game and opponents that came in here. They're a true advantage for our team."
"The atmosphere here in the Snake Pit is like no other and we appreciate how loyal our fans are. Rattler Nation is the strongest fan base period," Said General Manager and Head Coach Kevin Guy. "If you look back at our home record the last few years, it shows that our fans really make a difference."
