FOX CITIES STADIUM -- The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers committed four errors in a 7-5 loss to the Cedar Rapids Saturday night to split a pair of games. The loss by the Rattlers drops them into a first place tie with the Clinton LumberKings, who won a pair of games today. Tommy Duenas hit a three run homer in a five run third inning and Fernando Rodriguez picked up the win despite walking six over five innings.
Wisconsin took an 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning. Kernel starting pitcher Fernando Rodriguez walked Brent Johnson with two out and the bases loaded to force in a run. Sebastien Boucher drew another bases loaded walk from Rodriguez to force in another run.

Duenas, who homered in the completion of the suspended game earlier on Saturday, hit a line drive down the left field line that was ruled fair for a three run homer.

Peel's double chased Jensen from the game. Rattler reliever Ivan Blanco walked the first batter he faced to load the bases. But, he worked out of the inning to keep the deficit at three.
