Rattlers Assign 2010 First Team All-Arena Center Kyle Young

MESA, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers announce the assignment of 2010 First Team All-Arena C KYLE YOUNG.

"Our philosophy is to put the best players out on the field," said GM/HEAD COACH KEVIN GUY. "We excel when our protection excels and having a strong midline is where it all starts."

Young most recently spent a season at center with the United Football League 2011 champions, the Virginia Destroyers. In 2010, Young started the final two regular-season games and the UFL championship game at right guard with the Florida Tuskers.

The center spent 2010 with the Arizona Rattlers, earning First Team All-Arena honors, and was picked up by the squad prior to its 2011 playoff run. Young spent two seasons in arenafootball2 with the Spokane Shock (2008-2009), earning First-Team All-af2 for the 2009 championship team.

Young started 47 straight games at center for Fresno State, placing him on the Rimington Watch list as the nation's top center for three straight years. Young was named to the East-West Shrine Game following his senior season. He earned All-WAC Honorable Mention in 2003, Second-Team All-WAC in 2004, and First-Team All-WAC in 2005.
