
Rattlers Acquire DT Tyson

Phoenix, Ariz. - The five time world champion Arizona Rattlers were assigned defensive lineman Dimetrio Tyson for the 2016 Arena Football League (AFL) season on Monday.
Prior to joining the Rattlers, Tyson attended camp for the National Football League's Dallas Cowboys in 2013.
The 6-2 290-pound Tyson attended Jacksonville State where in 2011 he tallied 85.5 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks in his career. He also intercepted a pass as well as a pass breakup.
The Elba, Alabama native was a four-year lettermen at Elba High School. Tyson was an All-State selection as a senior, as well as team captain and most valuable defensive lineman. He was named All-Area and All-Region as well as named to the Southeast Sun Super 12 in 2007.
