The Rascals run their record to 4 wins and no losses in doubleheaders this season as they swept Wednesday's pair of games against the Florence Freedom. In game one starter Brad Glassco pitched a gem for his second win of the season (2-2), allowing one run over six innings as River City routed the Freedom 9-1. The nightcap was a bit tougher, but the Rascals pulled out a win 4 1, reliever Nick Niedbalski (1-0) got the victory on the mound.

Thursday night at 7:05 the Rascals host the Evansville Otters to open up a two game set. It's Missouri vs. Illinois rivalry night, wear a Mizzou or Illinois shirt and get discounts on select tickets.
