Raptors 905 announced Monday the team has claimed guard Wade Baldwin IV from the waiver wire.
Baldwin IV, 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, averaged 1.9 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 16 games with the Portland Trail Blazers this season. He also dressed in six games for the Texas Legends of the NBA G League, averaging 22.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals.
Selected 17th overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies, he owns NBA averages of 3.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 56 career games with Memphis and Portland. In 56 NBA G League games with Iowa and Texas, he is averaging 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.7 steals in 30.4 minutes.
Raptors 905 return to action Thursday, Feb. 28 when they travel to Canton for a meeting with the Charge, tip-off schedule for 7 p.m.
