
Rapids Training Schedule For Week of August 25

COMMERCE CITY, COLO. (Monday, August 25, 2008) - The Colorado Rapids head back out on the road for a second straight week traveling to Utah to take on Rocky Mountain Cup rival Real Salt Lake on Friday, August 29 at 7 pm MT.
This will be the second in a three-game season series for Colorado with Real Salt Lake, as the Rapids look to reclaim the Rocky Mountain Cup. The Rapids took the first match-up 2-0 on May 15 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park behind goals from Omar Cummings and Christian Gomez. The final match between these two clubs will take place in the regular season finale on October 25 in Colorado.
The Rapids Reserves return to action on Saturday, August 30 as they face the RSL Reserves. This will be the first match for the Rapids Reserves since a 3-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes Reserves on July 12.
