CHICAGO PLAY AT HOUSTON SUNDAY

The Chicago Fire (10-6-5, 35 pts.) plays at Western Conference leading Houston (8-5-8, 32 pts.) this Sunday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. (My50 Chicago, WRTO 1200 AM Spanish). The Fire won 1-0 at Los Angeles in their last game on Aug. 21 and are 4-1-4 in their last nine games which includes a 2-0-2 mark in its last four road games. Chicago is the best road team in MLS with a 6-2-3 record. The teams met earlier this season at TOYOTA PARK with Houston winning 2-1. The all-time series is tied 2-2-1 however the Fire has never lost in Houston winning 1-0 on 5/20/06 and by the same score on 4/29/07.

TOYOTA PARK TO HOST THREE INTERNATIONAL GAMES

CD GUADALAJARA AND CLUB AMERICA - SEPTEMBER 4

Mexican sides Club Deportivo Guadalajara and Club América, will add a new chapter to their storied rivalry as both clubs meet in El Clásico Bud Light presented by En Vivo and the Chicago Fire on Thursday, September 4 at TOYOTA PARK (8 p.m. CT). The match, also known as "el Clásico de los Clásicos", was last played on U.S. soil on October 31, 2006 at Glendale, Arizona's University of Phoenix Stadium where it ended in a 1-1 stalemate in front of over 40,000 fans. U.S. WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM FACES IRELAND - SEPTEMBER 20

FRANK KLOPAS 8TH ANNUAL FIREWORKS FOR KIDS GOLF OUTING

The FireWorks for Kids Foundation will host its 8th annual Frank Klopas golf outing at Silver Lakes Country Club, in Orland Park, Ill. on Monday Sept. 8. Celebrities expected to attend include the entire Fire team and coaching staff, as well as members of other local sports teams.
