Rapids vs. Dallas All-time Postseason: Colorado and FC Dallas have been matched up three previous times in the playoffs. The Rapids own a 3-1-3 advantage in games and a 3-0 advantage in the all-time series vs. Dallas. Last year Colorado upset Dallas in the first round in penalty kicks after the series and mini game both ended in ties. In Denver, the Rapids have a 2-0-1 record against Dallas in the playoffs.

Rapids Records: The Rapids clinched a playoff spot for a team-record fifth straight time this season. The former record of four consecutive postseason trips was accomplished twice, from 1997-2000 and 2001-2005. On the individual player side, Terry Cooke became the first in Rapids' history to have four multiple assist games in a year this season.

Thanks to his two assists in the finale at Houston, Cooke regained the MLS assist title, despite missing nine games late in the season. Rapids Season Awards: The Colorado Rapids will unveil the 2006 Rapids Player of the Year Awards at halftime of this Saturday's Western Conference Semifinal playoff game vs. FC Dallas. The Rapids players who have been selected as award winners in nine different categories will be revealed to the public in a special halftime event. The award winners are selected based on players' performances over the course of the entire season and are voted on by members of the local Colorado media.
