Rapids Announce Spanish-Language Radio Partnership with KNRV-1150 AM

Denver, CO (Wednesday, January 17, 2007) - The Colorado Rapids announced today their partnership with KNRV-1150 AM, the newest Spanish-language radio station in the Colorado area. "La Buena Onda" will serve as the Rapids' official Spanish radio broadcast partner in 2007 and will carry all of the club's Major League Soccer regular season and playoffs games.

"KNRV's innovative local format will be a great fit for our club and our continued approach to serve the local Spanish-speaking community," said Rapids Managing Director Jeff Plush. "We are excited to have all regular season games airing on a media outlet with such a deep commitment to our community."

KNRV-1150 AM will provide the most comprehensive coverage for Spanish-speaking soccer fans in Colorado, with in-depth analysis and commentary of all of the team's home and away games, beginning with the team's home opener on Saturday, April 7th at 1:30 p.m. at the brand new Dick's Sporting Goods Park against DC United.
