
Rapids Announce 2022 Preseason Schedule
January 8, 2022 - Major League Soccer (MLS) - Colorado Rapids News Release
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - The Colorado Rapids announced today their preseason schedule ahead of the 2022 Major League Soccer season.
As participants in the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL), Rapids players will report to DICK'S Sporting Goods Park on January 10 for health and fitness testing before beginning their first in-market training session on January 11. The team will then travel to Tucson, Arizona, on January 16 for the first phase of their preseason training camp and take part in the Desert Showcase Presented by Visit Tucson.
On February 9, the team will travel to Orlando, Florida, and play a friendly against Orlando City SC on Feb. 11. The Rapids will remain in Orlando through February 15 before departing to Guatemala ahead of the first leg of their SCCL Round of 16 match against Comunicaciones FC.
Following their match in Guatemala, the Rapids will return to Colorado and host Comunicaciones FC in the second leg of their SCCL Round of 16 match on February 23 before opening the 2022 MLS season on the road against LAFC on February 26.
