
Rapids Acquire International Roster Spot from D.C. United

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - The Colorado Rapids announced today the club has acquired an international roster spot from D.C. United for the 2020 and 2021 seasons in exchange for $200,000 in 2021 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $25,000 in conditional 2022 GAM.
Colorado start their MLS is Back Tournament campaign tonight against rival Real Salt Lake. Kickoff is set for 8:30 PM MT and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and TSN (Canada), and streamed on the ESPN and TSN apps.
Fans can also view additional coverage of the match through the new Rapids Second Screen Fan Experience featuring appearances by former Rapids players Alan Gordon and Stephen Keel.
TRANSACTION: The Colorado Rapids acquire an international roster spot from D.C. United for the 2020 and 2021 seasons in exchange for $200,000 in 2021 GAM and $25,000 in conditional 2022 GAM on July 12, 2020.
