Rapid City's Langhamer Named CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Marek Langhamer of the Rapid City Rush is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Nov. 23-29.

The 21-year-old went 2-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .975 in two wins against Idaho last week.

Langhamer made 45 saves in a 4-1 win on?Wednesday and stopped 33 shots in a 2-1 victory on?Saturday. He had a shutout streak of 100:15 spanning the two games.

Under contract to the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League, Langhamer has appeared in five games for the Rush this season posting a record of 3-1-1 with one shutout, a 2.16 goals-against average and a save percentage of .944.

Prior to turning pro, Langhamer appeared in 120 career games with Medicine Hat of the Western Hockey League where he went 68-42-7 with six shutouts, a 2.86 goals-against average and a save percentage of .905.

Runners Up: Steve Michalek,?Quad City (2-0-0, 1.50 GAA, .957 save pct.) and Jeff Lerg, Toledo (2-0-0, 1.92 GAA, .918 save pct.).
