
Rangers Top Knights 4-1

Kitchener, ON: Justin Azevedo scored once and picked up a pair of assists tonight in leading the Rangers to a 4-1 win over the visiting London Knights.
The Knights scored first on a goal by David Jarram at 5:41 of the first period. Justin Azevedo tied the game with his 2nd of the season at 5:55 beating Knights goalie Steve Mason.
In the second period Jakub Kindl scored the eventual game winner at 9:32, his 3rd. Kevin Henderson then scored his 3rd goal of the season at 19:49 to put the Rangers up 3-1 after two periods of play.
Red hot Matt Halischuk put the game out of reach in the third period scoring his league best 13th goal of the season at 11:17.
John Murray picked up the win improving to 5-2 on the season and lowered his GAA to 2.92.
The Rangers next home game is Friday, October 27th against the Peterborough Petes. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
