
Rangers Pull away in Third to Top Sting 5-1

The Kitchener Rangers took on the Sarnia Sting at the Aud on Friday, October 15th. The first time the teams have met since February, 28th 2020.
Reid Valade scores early in the first period (assisted by Mike Petizian and Cameron Mercer), and the Blueshirts hold onto the 1-0 lead after the 1st. The Rangers add to the lead during the latter half of the second, as Declan McDonnell scores (assisted by newly minted Captain Francesco Pinelli, and Joseph Serpa). Pavel Cajan continued making great saves in the second.
The third period was action-packed, as the Rangers score three goals (Francesco Pinelli, Reid Valade, Mike Petizian), with the Sting getting on the board midway through the period.
