Head coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced that the Kitchener Rangers and the Georgetown Raiders of the OJHL have reached an affiliation agreement for the upcoming 2010-2011 season.

The Georgetown Raiders are a proud organization with a tradition of excellence. In 2005 the Raiders were the Ontario Dudley Hewitt Champions and Royal Bank Cup semi finalists. "We look forward to our affiliation with the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club. The Rangers have a proud tradition both on and off the ice and we look forward to developing their prospects. Steve Spott and I have played together and have known each other for many years and I am comfortable that both organizations will benefit from this new agreement." Greg Walters

"I look forward to our partnership with the Georgetown Raiders. The Raiders are a first class organization. Under the guidance of Greg Walters I am confident that our prospects that play with them will be prepared mentally and physically to play for us in the future. Greg is an elite coach who knows what it takes to play in the Ontario Hockey League. It is a great fit for us." Steve Spott
