San Antonio Rampage News Release


THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, Nov. 26 @ Houston Aeros

Toyota Center, 7:35 p.m.

The Rampage make their first trip to Houston this Friday. San Antonio has outscored Houston 7-2 and lead the series 2-0-0-0. The Rampage shutout the Aeros in their first meeting on Oct. 23 and claimed the second contest with a 5-2 win on Oct. 29.

Saturday, Nov. 27 @ Texas Stars

Cedar Park Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Rampage make their second trip to Cedar Park Center this Saturday. The Stars claimed a 4-3 overtime victory in Austin on Oct. 16 and shutout the Rampage 3-0 on Oct. 10 at the AT&T Center.

Sunday, Nov. 28 vs. Milwaukee Admirals

AT&T Center, 3:00 p.m.

The Rampage end a three-in-three series this weekend with a home game against the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday. The Rampage won the first contest on Nov. 19 with a 4-3 victory in the shootout.

SUNDAY FUNDAY: This Sunday fans can enjoy a free pregame skate two hours prior to faceoff. Fans can also purchase a $10 ticket that includes a free hot dog, chips and soda.

MOVEMBER: Throughout the month of November, the Rampage are growing out their mustaches to help change the face of men's health by raising funds and awareness about cancers that affect men. On Sunday the Rampage will reveal their mustaches and encourage fans to do the same. The Rampage player (voted on by fans) and fan (voted on by the team) with the best -'stache will be selected as the winners on Sunday.

TOP NOTCH: The Rampage are off to their best start in franchise history and currently lead the AHL with 29 points.

GOING STREAKING: The Rampage are riding a six-game winning streak outscoring their opponents 22-11. San Antonio has allowed only three power-play goals in those six games and are perfect on the penalty kill in their last two contests killing off seven opportunities.

MACLEAN WATCH: Right wing Brett MacLean needs only one goal to tie Rampage all- time goal leader Joel Perrault (60).

LONE STAR FACEOFF: The Rampage trail Houston by one point in the Lone Star Faceoff with four points in the standings. San Antonio looks to top the Lone Star Faceoff standings with a back-to-back series this weekend against Houston on Friday and Texas on Satur- day. The Rampage have a 2-0-0-0 advantage over the Aeros and hold an 0-1-1-0 record against the Stars this season.

ICE CHIPS: David Brine-Center

David Brine has three assists in his last three games including two assists on Wednesday in Peoria. He missed the first 12 games of the season with an injury and has since appeared in seven games with the Rampage.

During the 2009-10 season he posted 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists) in 69 games with the Rochester Americans. The Truro, Nova Scotia native recorded an assist in seven playoff games with the Amerks last season.

In 2006, Brine was a finalist on "Making the Cut: Last Man Standing", a popular Canadian reality TV program. Although he did not win the contest, he earned a tryout with the Florida Panthers (NHL) and spent the last four seasons with the Panthers' AHL affiliate in Rochester, NY.
