
Rampage Sign Forwards Wade Megan and Tony Turgeon

SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 20, 2014) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced Wednesday that the club has signed forwards Wade Megan and Tony Turgeon to one-year AHL contracts.
Megan, 24, spent time with both the Rampage and the Cincinnati Cyclones during the 2013-14 season, recording 13 goals and seven assists in 16 games for Cincinnati. The 6-1, 190-pound center skated in 43 games for the Rampage, finishing with 11 goals and six assists with nine of those points coming in the 13 games the Silver and Black played in March. Following the conclusion of the Rampage season, Megan rejoined the Cyclones for the Kelly Cup Playoffs and tallied 10 goals and three assists to help Cincinnati to the Kelly Cup Finals.
Turgeon, 24, enters his second pro season after spending time with both the Rampage and the Cyclones in 2013-14. In 13 games with Cincinnati, the 6-4, 228-pound defenseman recorded two assists. He made his AHL debut on April 1 against Lake Erie and skated in five games with San Antonio.
