
Rampage Sign David Pacan to AHL Contract

SAN ANTONIO (August 22, 2012) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Mike Santos announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward David Pacan to an AHL contract.
Pacan, 21, joins the Rampage from the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League where he spent the last two seasons and played in 133 games, recording 49 goals and 77 assists. During the IceDogs playoff run last year, Pacan averaged 1.00 points per game on eight goals and 12 assists in 20 games as the club made it to the Robertson Cup Finals.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Ottawa spent the 2009-10 season with the University of Vermont (HEA), totaling seven goals and seven assists in 39 games for the Wildcats. Prior to attending the University of Vermont, Pacan recorded 34 goals and 60 assists in 118 games for the Cumberland Grads of the CJHL in the span of two seasons (2007-09).
Pacan was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round (177th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
