He began the season with the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), compiling two points (1g, 1a) in four games, and recorded a plus-1 rating in one game with the Manitoba Moose (AHL).
In 2008-09, the Framingham, Massachusetts native totaled 14 points (4g, 10a) in 67 games with Manitoba and the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) after being traded by the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) on Dec. 9, 2008.
The 6-foot-2, 198-pound blueliner has amassed 74 points (15g, 59a) and 127 penalty minutes in 202 career AHL contests with Manitoba, Rockford, Chicago and San Antonio.
