
Bret Michaels To Perform At Rivermen Game

PEORIA, Ill. (February 22, 2010) - Peoria Rivermen Chief Operating Officer Josh Morin announced today that Bret Michaels will perform in a postgame concert on Saturday, April 3, following the team's game with the Lake Erie Monsters.
Vh1 presents Bret Michael's "Roses and Thorns Tour" kicks off on Mar. 12 in Fargo, ND and will stop in Peoria after the final Rivermen home game of the regular season. Tickets are available now for $20 in the upper bowl and $25 in the lower bowl.
A limited number of on-ice, stage front passes will be sold for $40. The VIP passes will include a lower-bowl ticket to the game as well as a pass to see the concert from up close.
As front man for the legendary rock band Poison, Michaels has sold 25 million records and scored an amazing 15 chartbusting Top 40 singles including "Talk Dirty to Me," "Something to Believe In," "Nothing But a Good Time" and the timeless #1 smash "Every Rose Has its Thorn."
Setting his musical sights beyond Poison, Michaels released his debut solo album "Songs of Life" in 2003 followed by the rootsy, Americana flavored sophomore record "Freedom of Sound" in 2005 and "Rock My World" featuring the smash hit "Go That Far" in 2008.
On March 14th NBC will premiere the new season of Celebrity Apprentice staring Michaels. "With a party-hearty rock singer's image, he would be assessed as the season's "super-underdog", he declared to a journalist.
