Rampage Recall Charlie Sampair from Tulsa

SAN ANTONIO, TX - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Kevin McDonald announced on Monday that the Rampage have recalled forward Charlie Sampair from the ECHL's Tulsa Oilers.

Sampair, 25, is in his third professional season and second with the Oilers. The St. Paul, Minnesota native has played 13 games with Tulsa this season, collecting two goals and five points.

The 6-foot-1 forward appeared in two games for the Rampage last season, registering an assist. The 2017-18 season was a breakout campaign for Sampair in Tulsa, where he led the Oilers with 32 goals and 61 points. He has totaled 37 goals and 79 points in 128 ECHL games with Tulsa and Alaska.

Prior to turning pro, Sampair played four seasons of Division I NCAA hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He notched five goals and 14 points in 102 college games.

The Rampage aim for their third consecutive win on Tuesday night when they host the Rockford IceHogs at the AT&T Center. Puck-drop is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the game available on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
