Rampage Announce Roster Moves

SAN ANTONIO (March 23, 2015) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced that the club has reassigned defenseman Mackenzie Weegar to the Cincinnati Cyclones and forward Tony Turgeon to the Allen Americans (ECHL). Additionally, goalie Colin Stevens has been reassigned to San Antonio, and Jacob DeSerres has been released from his amateur tryout contract.

Weegar has tallied two goals and eight assists in 30 games for San Antonio this season. In 11 games for the Cyclones, the 6-0, 183-pound Ottawa, Ontario native has notched a goal and five assists.

Turgeon has picked up an assist and 46 penalty minutes in 16 games with the Silver and Black this season. His assist, the first point of his pro career, came in San Antonio's 9-3 win over the Charlotte Checkers on Tuesday, March 17.

Colin Stevens signed an entry-level contract with the Florida Panthers on March 20 after wrapping up his career at Union College where he played in 90 games (2011-2015), posting a 53-24-6 record and leading the team to the 2014 NCAA National Championship.

DeSerres just closed out a four-year career at the University of Calgary where he posted a 2.10 goals against average and a .914 save percentage through 48 career games.
