WHO: The Brooklyn Cyclones Brooklyn Dodger All-Star pitcher Ralph Branca

Joshua Prager, author of The Echoing Green

WHAT: The Brooklyn Cyclones are proud to welcome former Brooklyn Dodger Ralph Branca to KeySpan Park in Coney Island this Sunday, July 8th. Branca, a three-time All Star, will be on hand to throw out the first pitch just prior to the team's 5 PM game, as well as sign autographs for fans. Joshua Prager, author of The Echoing Green, which details the untold story of the epic "Shot Heard Round the World" at The Polo Grounds in 1951, will also be making an appearance. In addition:

-- It's "Bring Your Webkinz To The Park" Night, plush toys that come with a code allowing their owners to go online with a virtual of their "pet". Kids who bring their Webkinz are invited to participate in an on- field parade by the warning track about 45 minutes prior to the game. -- Children will also have a chance to run the bases after the game.

WHEN: Sunday, July 8th at 5 PM
