Tacoma, WA - The Tacoma Rainiers beat the Sacramento River Cats tonight 5-2 in front of 2588 fans at Cheney Stadium. With the win the Rainiers are River Cats are now tied (1-1) in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Conference Championship Series.
Both teams will now head down to Sacramento tomorrow for Game #3 in this best-of-five series. The Rainiers will throw RHP Andy Baldwin (6-11, 4.57) against Sacramento's RHP Jerome Williams (5-6, 5.58). Game time 7:05 pm pst.
