Rainiers Rainied out at Omaha

PAPILLION, Neb. -- Tonight's Tacoma Rainiers game against the Omaha Storm Chasers that was originally scheduled for 5:05 p.m. from Werner Park has been postponed due to rain.

The Rainiers will now play the club's first doubleheader of the season beginning at 11:05 a.m. PT tomorrow, May 20. Each game is scheduled to last seven innings, with the second game slated to begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.

Right-hander Jeff Marquez (3-3, 5.62) is slated to start for Tacoma in the first half of the doubleheader against Storm Chasers right-hander Vin Mazzaro (1-0, 4.97). In the second game, Tacoma left-hander Anthony Vasquez (4-2, 5.22) will face off against right-hander Sean O'Sullivan (3-2, 6.91) for Omaha.

Each game of the Rainiers doubleheader tomorrow can be heard live on South Sound Sports 850-AM and is available to be streamed online at www.tacomarainiers.com.
