ROME, GA - The RiverDogs' road trip opener against the Rome Braves was postponed on Thursday evening due to heavy rain at State Mutual Stadium. The game will be made up as part of a Friday night double-header starting at 5 p.m., both 7-inning contests.

Charleston (46-46, 13-11) is 4-2 against the Braves this year, most recently taking two out of a three-game series in late-June at Riley Park. Thursday marks the ninth date this year affected by weather for the RiverDogs. Tomorrow's twin bill will be the Charleston club's sixth this season.

Friday's contest will be picked up in progress on "The Big Talker" 1250 WTMA starting at 7 p.m. with audio streaming live starting from the first pitch at riverdogs.com and the RiverDogs' TuneIn radio station.

RiverDogs single-game tickets, including options to the Riley Park Club, are now available for the 2018 campaign, the club's 25th season as the RiverDogs and their "175th season in dog years." Ticket information can be secured by contacting the box office at (843) 577-DOGS (3647) or online at www.riverdogs.com/tickets.
